I would be doing a charity high tea fashion show a week later. Days before the show, we were told to wear either in white or pink for the reception. In a haste to find a suitable dress, I thought of
. Barsha was so helpful and I went to her home on the day itself to choose the design. I was so spoiled for choices with her various designs and finally decided on a piece which was altered in a matter of 20mins! My headache resolved in just one morning. Incredible service and speed.
Batua, is the Hindi word for a bag. Barsha’s initial objective in setting up
Batua by Barsha was to provide options of good quality bags and clutches at affordable prices. She has however went a long way to create a fusion of Indo-Western designs in her gowns filled with loads of colours and patterns . The ready to wear features brings about lesser hassle. I felt that the younger generation would be motivated to wear in bid to create a fashion trend in future events.
I chose this piece as it has both a white and pink element in it plus the attractive bright colours drew me to it right away!
To top it off, the earlier phobia of handling 5 metres of cloth around me was instantly resolved as Barsha made it so easy by sewing part of it on the waist and all I got to do was to just pin a small section to my wrist for that wave effect from the back.
