Numbing cream was left for 20 mins on my face before Dr. Chiam came in and drew some markings on my face using the numbing cream. There was ultrasound gel applied on the face and reapplied at intervals.
Dr. Chiam further explained that this screen aid in the precision when administering the shots using the visual skin ultrasound.
There was a programmed number of shots that were required for each area. 3 rounds were required and the focus were on the different layers of the skin.
Dr. Chiam was busy at monitor the machine while I was also curious about the whole process and asking questions.
It was normal to have a bit of swollen on the face. It will last about 3 to 7 days depending on individuals. This was how I look while the nurse helped to remove the cream off my face. There was a little redness that would go off in a few hours. The process took about an hour. I would recommend sedation if you have a low pain threshold. I was holding on to a stress ball provided as the shots became more unbearable as it goes nearer to the area with more bones like the forehead and below the chin.

Ultherapy costs $3,500 and if you need sedation would be another $1,500. I was able to continue with my daily activities after the treatment so you do not have to worry about any downtime at all. So if you are looking for non-surgical face and neck treatment that uses ultrasound to actually lift and tone loose or sagging skin without any downtime, then Ultherapy is your answer.
It will lasts for about 12 to 18 months depending on individual.
However, I would still advise you to speak to Dr. Chiam first before proceeding. He is a very professional doctor and the best person to advise on what is the best treatment for you.
