Navigating Life’s Rollercoaster: A Peek into My World – Jan 2024

Hey there, wonderful souls!

As I dive into another year, I can’t help but reflect on the rollercoaster that was 2023. The struggles, the tears, the laughter, and everything in between. So here we are, continuing the journey into 2024.

Life as a multi-functional mom is like juggling a dozen balls at once. From whipping up meals for the kiddos to planning our first family trip in February, every day is a whirlwind of emotions and responsibilities. But hey, that’s the beauty of it, right?

Work has been a wild ride too, with media events and marketing gigs keeping me on my toes. Shoutout to my incredible sponsors for helping me stay healthy and fabulous – because let’s face it, a little glam never hurt anyone.

One of the highlights on the horizon is a charity event in February, focusing on raising awareness for youth mental health. From planning and design to sales and social media, it’s a challenge that tugs at my heartstrings. Mentoring the Leos for the event is both an honor and a humbling experience.

But, oh boy, not everything has been smooth sailing. Some teammates let me down, and I had to bid farewell to a few people who just didn’t make the cut for 2024. It’s tough, but necessary for personal growth.

Amidst the chaos, there’s the pride that swells in me – my little Chloez winning the Edusave Merit Bursary award. Those moments are like rays of sunshine on stormy days. And speaking of stormy days, let’s not forget the hormonal rollercoaster that comes with being a woman. Crying spells, fatigue, stress – hormones can be quite the drama queens.

On the home front, the delay in renovations has been a source of frustration. It not only hit me emotionally but also affected 20 other brands I’m working with. Here’s to hoping for a new interior designer to swoop in and save the day after Chinese New Year.

And then there’s the never-ending responsibility of caring for my mom, who battles severe Parkinson’s. My sister and I take turns, especially when the maid is off duty. It’s a delicate dance of balancing family, work, and personal sanity.

But hey, life isn’t just about challenges; it’s also about celebrating love. My sister Rachel’s son tied the knot in a breathtaking wedding. It’s moments like these that remind me to find balance and joy in the midst of chaos.

So how do I cope with it all? Cooking is my therapy, and there’s nothing like surprising the kids with a delicious meal. Throw in some good food, wines, and whiskey, and top it off with soothing YouTube sermons – my recipe for stress relief.

Despite the hurdles, I hold onto faith. They say God won’t give us anything we can’t handle, and with my lovely kids and a soulmate by my side, I am truly blessed. Stay tuned for the next chapter in my book of life – Feb 2024, here we come!

Love,

Celestia
