Woke up early and proceed to Orchard Paragon Guess for Chloez 1st audition.
Decided to give Chloez the experience of going for an audition since she love taking photos. Harper’s magazine is looking for models but from what I see, the success rate is near to zero since there are many Pan Asian and Caucasian kids with beautiful features which magazines tend to sought after. The queue was not that bad when we arrived and we were in no. 12.
Chloez is awfully spontaneous about it and showed so fear at all in front of the camera man after changing into a Guess tee. Kinda disappointed really as I expected them to dress the kids up instead of just getting Chloez to wear their tee over her current dress. The waiting and registration takes like 40mins but the whole so called audition process took just 1 min including the changing part. It’s just like a quick 2 shoot at the the camera man holding a Guess prop and voila its done. They gave a magazine and a Guess thumb drive to complete the process. Hmm… that’s Chloez first experience. Undaunting , fast and easy. Still awfully proud of her though.
We went to ground floor atrium to join in the Fox Kids Fall Winter Fashion Show 2013. The kids on the stage was amazing. According to the marketing lady, the models are a mixture of Fox kids and models. They took just one day of rehearsal to put the show together. Well done kids! There’s cupcake decor, snapshot counter, finger food and drinks for this private event.
